Michael Singh.
Founder and Principal of AMK Lawyers. Michael spent the early part of his career defending compensation claims for insurers — then spent the rest of it making sure injured Queenslanders never face those same insurers alone.
From the insurer's side of the table to yours.
Michael Singh founded AMK Lawyers in 2013 with a simple conviction: that injured people deserve the same calibre of representation that insurers buy for themselves. He'd know — he spent his early years in practice on the defence side, running trials and advising CTP and WorkCover insurers on how to minimise the claims of people just like AMK's clients.
That experience is now his clients' biggest advantage. Michael knows the surveillance, the medico-legal tactics and the lowball offers from the inside, because he used to deploy them. Today he uses that same knowledge to anticipate the other side's every move and to push claims to their full and fair value.
AMK takes its name from Michael's family, and he runs the firm the way he'd want his own family looked after — honestly, personally, and without the jargon. He has built a deliberately boutique team so that every client deals with an experienced lawyer, never a call centre or a file number.
